We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic HR Manager to join our Seattle team to help us improve our people systems.

In this role, you will contribute to HR operations, from compensation & benefits, employee relations, compliance, leave processing, training, and onboarding. You will be a critical member of the Textio People team and work closely with leaders and employees at every level.

This position includes serious development potential. Together with the Chief People Officer, you will develop strategic employee plans and company-wide programs and policies to support our fast-growing company. You will chip in to a range of areas within the People team to support Textio’s growth and bring about the full potential of all Textio teams.


What you’ll be doing:
* Advise and counsel management and employees in the areas of Company policy, Federal, State, and Municipal Employment Laws, Human Rights, and related legislation
* Counsel managers and employees on work related issues at all levels
* Expertly manage employee relations issues
* Build and maintain internal HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
* Collaborate with managers on team member performance and development
* Partner with leaders to cultivate a culture that reflects the beliefs and values of the organization drives engagement, and champions belonging and inclusion for all team members
* Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve team member engagement, performance, retention, belonging, and organizational performance
* Diagnose issues and recommend, design and deliver solutions
* Facilitate change management throughout the organization
* Develop, implement and evolve HR strategy to support the business as it continues to grow
* Collaborate with recruiting, IT, finance, leadership, and other Textio teams to build an outstanding experience for all candidates and employees

* You have experience partnering with leaders across an organization to effectively manage employee relations issues
* You have a deep understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations as they relate to human resources
* You have excellent coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and communication skills
* You lead by example and find opportunities to improve processes
