Computer Vision Engineer - Mapping

• Research and Implement the state-of-the-art algorithms for real-time Localization and adapt them to mixed reality operating system.
• Improving Robustness of Location Algorithms Based on Different Operating Environments
• Taking algorithms from initial evaluation and experimentation all the way to shipping them as part of the Mixed Reality OS and related products.
• Developing and optimizing software architecture for real-world performance while matching or exceeding customer requirements.
• Working on areas such as sensor self-calibration, perception, mapping and localization using a variety of sensor modalities (Camera, GPS, Odometry, etc.).
• Collecting map data, working on storage systems, fusing and mining data, integrating into a cloud-based service.
• Solidifying existing algorithms and working with large amounts of real and synthetic data to continuously improve the algorithmic and computational performance.
• Developing unit tests, documentation for features, evaluating quality and proposing corrective actions.
• Developing highly efficient product code in C++, making use of high algorithmic parallelism offered by GPU programming.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as Computer Vision Developer.
• Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field with a focus in Computer Vision and Robotics
• Expertise in C++ and familiar with the common data structures and algorithms
• Solid foundation in Computer Vision: photogrammetry, multi-view geometry, visual SLAM, detection and recognition, 3D reconstruction.
• Solid foundation in software development and related tools.
• Proficiency in OpenCV.
• Experience with imaging sensors and depth sensors.
• Experience in SLAM
