We’re a platform for the next generation of wellness, focused on the hardest problem -- personalized nutrition. We sell fresh food for Food Tribes (representing 39% of the U.S. population, including whole30, gluten-free, paleo, ketogenic, vegan, and vegetarian).

We're direct-to-consumer ecommerce with differentiated distribution, blending direct to home delivery with partnership with leading fitness outlets for local pickup locations (including yoga, cycling and CrossFit studios as well as boutique and high-end health clubs).

We lead with purpose and intention, just like our customers. We’re operating in six markets (DC, NY, Philly, DFW, SoCal and the Bay Area) and expanding. In each, we work with amazing chefs using responsibly-sourced ingredients to create healthy meals that our customers rely on to undergird their health & wellness goals.

Role Overview

A Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for overall revenue of a designated geographic region. This includes new account acquisition in multiple verticals, relationship management with current partners, and management of a field marketing team. This role is designed to maximize sales and growth through account management and new business sales. A major objective of this role is to provide profitable growth in the region by using the necessary levers at the correct time.


-Act as point person on all Territory Foods responsibilities within an assigned region/market.
-These are, but not limited to, New Business sales, Account Management, Field Marketer Management, and Ambassador recruitment.
-Prospect for new partnerships in order to meet company growth strategy in the short and long term.
-This is done through cold calls, social networking, direct marketing, business development, and any other form appropriate.
-Be able to navigate a sophisticated sales cycle.
-Foster long-term customer relationships that result in increased sales and margin growth.
-Read market reports and analyze data looking for areas of opportunity and use them to determine top account monthly/quarterly rotation visits.
-Work with Field Marketers to support Territory Foods strategy. Relay special instructions, product promotions, new products, price changes, and communicate any sales issues/objectives.
-Utilize CRM database to record weekly activities.
-Regular communication with region operations management, nutrition team and Director of Sales.
-Ability to understand the competitive landscape and market forces while adapting to current trends.
-Relay Territory Foods messaging to multiple consumer segments and channels including corporate, hospitality, and fitness.
-Analyze and use sales numbers to organize activities and increase overall growth.
-The scope of the Regional Sales Manager will change based on business needs and market trends.

About You

-3-5 years of experience in outside B2B sales selling to different verticals.
-Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
-Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.
-A passion for the health-wellness and fitness industry with the ability to engage in these communities.
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
-Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors and may require occasional travel.
