Tenoke was co-founded by Principal Investigators in University of Cambridge (Dr Zhongzhao Teng) and Imperial College London (Prof. Yike Guo), who are pioneering in Biomechanics and Medical Imaging and Big Data. We are transforming cardiovascular disease prevention with our cutting edge technology that is groundbreaking, impactful and life-saving.

We are currently running clinical trials in 6 top hospitals in China and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. Our team in China is working with the government to establish two Cardiovascular and Big Data Research Centres in Jiangsu and Fujian Province.

We are looking for the best and brightest engineers to join our team at the Cambridge office. In addition to the salary, the package includes equity.


Our candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a web based, service oriented applications. These applications require persistence, processing and visualization of large datasets. Your responsibilities include:

1. Customer requirement analysis and system design;

2. Create and present development plans including setting mile stones, estimating time, etc.

3. Develop mobile and web application with a user friendly interface;

4. Perform DevOps assignments: unit test, continuous build, automation test and automation deploy;

5. Server, Network and Hosting Environment set up, e.g. file system, cloud storage, network resources;

6. Detailed documentation of code and system.


Applicants should have a bachelor’s (or higher) degree in computer science, engineering, math or other related field. Experience and knowledge of the following stack is required:

1. 3+ years track record of full stack developer experience from both web and mobile applications.

2. Object oriented skills and knowledge of framework.

3. Strong practical experience in Python, Java, C# and C/C++, Git.

4. Hands-on Experience in database development for both relational and non-relational data stores, e.g., SQL server , Oracle database, Cassandra, MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL databases;

5. QT-based experience in GUI design and development;

6. Basic knowledge about big data and machine learning.


1. Experience in developing clinical data processing software;

2. Experience with concurrency, multithreading, server architectures, GPU programming and distributed systems;

3. Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies as well as user experience design.

4. Strong understanding and practical experience of DevOps;

5, VTK/ITK proficiency;

6. Highly creative and inquisitive; be effective with multitasks.
