THE ROLE

Ten Thousand is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager who is passionate about reaching customers in new ways and developing efficient, highly scalable marketing channels. Working with our Head of Growth and Lifecycle, you will own all paid social channels and conceive, manage, analyze, and optimize campaigns to help fuel the next phase of our growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance marketing and acquisition, and is eager to take on a highly entrepreneurial position that will require you to assume a number of different roles across the marketing function. In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will bring creative thinking to all marketing campaign planning.

Responsibilities:
- You will own our day-to-day management across Facebook and Instagram to maximize for customer growth, while hitting CAC and ROI goals and being mindful of our brand experience
- Independently perform daily bid, budget and creative optimizations to meet aggressive growth targets
- In addition to campaign optimizations, you will also drive creative iterations through developing, testing, and scaling new ideas for ads, copy, and audiences
- In order to make sure we’re moving in the right direction with all marketing efforts on paid social, you will be a leader in understanding our customers’ needs and experiences, and translating customer data, transaction history, and user behavior insights into recommendations to move the business forward to continue scaling and optimizing your channels
- We want to scale quickly but efficiently so you will run analysis and reporting for your channels to find opportunities and recommend budget allocations across your areas of responsibility
- While paid social is our largest channel at the moment, you will also proactively develop new campaigns and marketing ideas across other digital growth channels
- To continue driving innovation, we will look to you to be a student of e-commerce marketing, our industry, and our competitors to constantly seek new channels and opportunities to achieve our goals

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct, growth-focused experience in digital marketing at digital marketing agencies or, ideally, at consumer technology, apparel, or retail companies
- Hands-on experience managing Facebook & Instagram ad budgets and implementing daily adjustments based on performance trends
- Expertise with Facebook Ad Manager, Google Search and Shopping, and Google Analytics. Experience with platforms like Youtube, Reddit, etc. is a plus.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves to develop, execute, and scale growth strategies for existing and new marketing channels
- Digitally-minded,​ ​but interested in and excited to work across multiple mediums and channels
- Inclined to use data and customer feedback to drive campaign tests and optimizations
- Heavily focused on hitting CAC and ROAS goals while being mindful of our brand and customer experience tradeoffs
- A fast learner who can pivot quickly
- Able to successfully juggle multiple initiatives and prioritize work effectively while meeting deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done
