NLP Engineer

TechWolf is a machine learning startup based in Ghent (BE) & Cambridge (UK). Our mission is to provide easily accessible intelligence to online HR platforms with API-based natural language understanding solutions, making them look and feel intelligent with minimal effort.

As a natural language processing engineer on our product team, you would be reporting to our CTO. You will leverage your cognitive and analytical skills to come up with creative solutions to newfound problems, implement state-of-the-art NLP algorithms and techniques in the context of our product and develop new features for our product to help our customers' businesses thrive.

While experience with advanced NLP techniques is a definite advantage, TechWolf provides an environment where you can learn and grow to become an expert. You will get the opportunity to work both on very technical projects, but also to work close to the customers, using cutting-edge technology to build and improve our product. After the initial phase, you can expect to have research and development projects you work on independently, allowing you to explore your interests and show your ingenuity.

==Education==
• You have a Master's degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable field.

==Technical skills==
• You are familiar with the standard machine learning & data science stack like Python on Jupyter Notebooks with Pandas, Scikit-learn...
• Knowledge of popular NLP libraries like Gensim and Spacy is a plus but is not required.
• You take pride in software craftsmanship and value clean code.

==Non-technical skills==
• Being able to handle responsibility and being able to work independently
• A motivated mind eager to grow and learn
• Willing to challenge us in technology and process
