TallyUp is developing a new type of gaming platform with the power to change lives
Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack / Backend)$120k – $200k • 0.0% – 1.0%
TallyUp is an LA startup, building a unique mobile game tournament with potential for global scale and charitable impact. Our investors and team are entirely tier one (ex Google, Youtube, EA, Microsoft, HP, Zynga, JamCity, etc). We are seeking an experienced full-stack / backend engineer to help build out critical infrastructure before launch in 2020. Stack is Node.js, Express, Typescript, Mongo, vue.js, numerous AWS services.
Ideal candidate is experienced in our stack and with experienced building high scale, high concurrency systems. As our model also involves high volume financial transactions it would be optimal (though not a hard requirement) for candidate to have some experience with financial Tx's, ledgers and financial system security.
This is our 4th fulltime engineer and 8th full-time team member who will wear many hats. Candidate is a generalist engineer with several years of backend experience. They will work on full-stack tasks including backend infrastructure/scale, analytics/reports/ ETL, database, api layer, third party integrations, back-office admin portal, tooling, product features (initially more backend than front end), liveops, devops, build pipeline and more.
Experience in Unity (which we're using on front-end) would be nice to have but is not a hard requirement.
