Job Description

Yajna Tech Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced mobile engineers to help make Talentopedia for Android the best mobile experience ever.

Responsibilities

Build compelling new experiences and features for Talentopedia for Android.

Contribute to all layers of the Android stack, from UI and storage, image and video.

Use your in-depth knowledge of all things Android to craft new Talentopedia features that are uniquely Android-based.

Contribute to tools, testing, and scripts that improve efficiency and code quality.

Go above and beyond to contribute to Talentopedia as a whole, including ownership of features from start to finish, beyond programming

Requirements

3-5 years of experience at cutting edge organizations or startups.

Love for building mobile applications and detailed knowledge of Android.

Excellent skills in Java, Experience in Image, GIF and Video handling.

Developing, releasing, and maintaining native Android Applications and oversee mobile application development efforts

Deliver across the entire app life cycle, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support

Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release products

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Optimizing performance for the apps and keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies

Solid computer science fundamentals (threading, memory management, speed)

Examples of shipped Android applications on the Google Play store or other Android store (send us a link!)

A healthy balance between moving fast and being careful

Passion for delivering the best user experience possible on mobile

B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Must have

Great understanding of Android development SDK

Basic Knowledge of Dagger, AWS and Data-Binding

Expertise in Core Java with solid OOD principles and design patterns

Good grasp of algorithms, design patterns, memory management and - multithreaded programming

Conversant with JSON, XML, Web services API.

Experience using Git for revision control

Experience working with bug/issue tracking and project management systems such as JIRA

Experience with SaaS platforms for mobile development like Analytics, Push -Notifications, Cloud Storage, Ad Networks, etc

Hands-on experience with Android’s debugging, unit-testing, memory and performance optimization tools.
