We are looking for a reliable and precise professional to take over the major reporting and reconciliation duties for our growing company. The Sr. Technical Accountant will maintain current accounts and manage invoicing in month/year end and compliance functions. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can analyze expense reports to assign payments, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements with vendors.

Responsibilities:
* Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.; reconciling payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate
* Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances; preparing bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
* Maintaining historical records
* Act as a liaison to vendors with any payment discrepancies; paying vendors by scheduling and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credits; generally responding to all finance-related vendor enquiries.
* Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments
* Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
* Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
* Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
* Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to Executive attention
* Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
* Coordinate semi-annual audits
* Conduct regular ledger maintenance
* Assist in processing of payroll on a biweekly basis
* Ensuring that all payments are sent on time; resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
* Help insure compliance with company operational procedures. Assist with quarterly, year-end, tax and financial review.
* Other Accounting duties/tasks/projects assigned as needed
* Ability to understand issues, and demonstrates resourcefulness and solves problems in a timely manner.

Key qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree minimum in accounting, finance, or similar area; CPA a plus
* 3+ years of Accounting experience
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience Implementing policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP regulation is a plus.
* Knowledge of accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.
* Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
* Great communication skills, both written and verbal
* Knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.

* Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
* Ability to interact with multiple clients/vendors in a professional manner at all times
* Proactive - anticipating and resolving any potential issues that may come up
