Backend Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Build backend for dynamic data-driven website.
• Develop backend for sophisticated complex dashboards.
• Implement algorithms programmatically.
• Optimize website and application performance (data flow optimization).
• Understand and develop on top of existing code.
• Develop backend for mobile App and for third party API integration

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must be proficient in LAMP stack
◦ PHP 5.3+
◦ CodeIgniter or Laravel
◦ MySQL
◦ API development
• Must have good knowledge of
◦ HTML 5
◦ Javascripting + Ajax
◦ Any one of (jQuery/AngularJS/BackboneJS)
◦ CSS
◦ Wordpress

• Must be proficient in developing highly performance driven database queries.
• Should have some experience working with third party APIs.
• Should have good logical and analytical skills.
• Should understand use cases, work flows, activity diagrams.
• Should have working knowledge of version control(GIT).
• Should have good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
• 1+ years of experience in web development
• Graduate will do
