What is Swiggy Labs?
A self-contained extension of the Swiggy org to drive experiments & zero to ones for potential new business lines and thereby creating a pipeline of the next big bets for the organisation.

At any given point, Labs team will be working on multiple business MVPs and unlocking the future via engineering R&D with an end goal of driving discontinuous growth in customer experience, top line or bottom line.

Some broad areas where Labs team will be experimenting would be

- Creating wow customer experiences and convenience within food and other verticals
- Improving supply chain efficiency via automation
- Enhance customer experience and vendor productivity using IOT and Big Data
Responsibilities
He /She will combine creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, command of analytical methods, and understanding of food consumption patterns to:
Roll up sleeves and do “whatever it takes” to meet the desired outcomes
Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and presenting final recommendations that will drive short and long term growth.
Work across teams to pull together strategic projects from high level vision through execution. Identify and execute on business critical cross functional projects collaborating across multiple stakeholders
Evaluate new business opportunities by modelling performance, reflecting plausible scenarios or illustrating the limits of tolerable risks. These opportunities will include new business models and initiatives.
Evaluate the performance of the newly established business operations and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goals. Work with individual functions in defining short-term and long-term priorities.
Build, Learn and Iterate on the initiatives by gathering relevant data and insights
Work with relevant functional teams for a specified duration on strategic initiatives
Professional Background / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in from a top tier college
Relevant experience (i.e. ex-entrepreneur and startup experience) and a demonstrated record of accomplishment
Experience in eCommerce, digital media, retail, and customer experience businesses is preferred but not mandatory

Experience handling multiple challenging priorities and driving projects to timely completion.
Highly experienced at structuring ambiguous problems, leading analytical work streams, applying sound business discernment
Comfortable with on-ground work and getting hands dirty
Communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver complex, data-driven insights to senior business leaders.
Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders to drive projects to execution by building consensus. Strong strategic and creative thinking
