As the Marketing Intern, you will own consumer and customer perception of our brands. You will work across disciplines, collaborating with product, sales, and executive teams to ensure that Supports Health delivers consistently across its brands. You will refine our existing brand guidelines, build and execute advertising strategies, and analyze primary and secondary data to build a brand which represents what our customers want, and our consumers’ needs. And when all else fails, you’re not afraid to try the cucumber method.

What you’ll do:

• Brand building: You will drive every element of our brand. What do consumers and customers feel when they see our brand? What do we say when we communicate under our brand? You’ll own our brand guidelines and key messages, because you’ll be the expert in knowing our consumers and customers.
• Advertising and promotion: You’ll work collaboratively with the design and executive team to design advertising and promotions that reach our consumers and customers, delivering information that is important to them, across a medium and channel that connects with them.
• Market-capture strategy: You’ll work directly with the CEO to answer the question: “how do we take over the world and help a lot of people and families in the process”. You’ll consistently redefine our go-to-market strategy by collecting and analyzing our current marketing metrics, conducting your own secondary market research, and presenting new marketing strategies with clear Measures of Success and ROI to the executive team.
• Digital engagement: You will support cross-platform social media posting, engagement, analysis and strategy. You will actively seek out and write relevant content to share and integrate it into the existing social media plan. You will also support the maintenance and planning of social media on Hootesuite, and use Hootesuite and social analytics (Facebook, Google, etc) to analyze results and make recommendations as to social media strategy.
• Physical engagement: You’ll work with the CEO and Business Development Associate to identify the best events to connect directly with our customers and consumers. You’ll be responsible for making pre and post evaluation of the value created for Supports Health by attending the event, preparing for the event, and attending certain events (you’ll split this responsibility with the rest of the team).
• Marketing collateral: You will work with our Designer to represent our brands in the physical and digital space to both our customers and our consumers. This cuts across classic marketing collateral, digital inbound marketing content, and online channel design (e.g. website). For each of these forms of collateral, you’ll be expected to manage and continuously improve existing collateral, and design new collateral based on your strategy and analysis.

• Leads generated / week
• Leads generated / campaign or event
• Inbound content published / quarter
• Digital subscriptions and engagements (for each channel)
