Analysts at StormX are data-driven and problem-solvers with great stewardship. We are looking for people who can innovate, love solving hard problems, and never take “no” for an answer. You will be the heart of data understanding what the business needs and what the customers likes and/or wants.

Job Role Description

The individual in this role will identify and develop business revenue relationships with companies with advertising budgets. Through regular and effective communication and relationship building, the individual in this role will close ad revenue-producing deals for StormX. Coordinated use of the CRM solution enables effective communication and support from the entire team.

As part of the Business Development team, the person in this role will work across the company with marketing, engineering, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

● Act as a representative of StormX at industry events and trade shows. Travel up to 25%.
● Manage a sales pipeline in a CRM tool, as directed.
● Close deals to a $250,000 quota, on an annual basis. Deals closed after reaching that limit during the year will earn an incentive bonus (see below).
● Focus on building relationships with other cryptocurrency and blockchain-related companies to identify strategic partnership opportunities.
● Build and maintain relationships with mobile and web advertising, micro-task, online shopping brands, and other companies.
● Source new opportunities and learn the advertising part of the business of StormX.
● Demonstrate solid relationship-building skills during the deal process.
● Maintain a strong understanding of sales targets by doing research and keeping up to date on current events that are impacting them.
● Initiate cold call/e-mail contact with prospective partners using effective communication skills.
● Process market feedback to make us better sellers whether you win or lose a deal (hearing no is ok as long as we know why we didn't win so we can improve).
● Collaborate with multiple inter-departmental parties to develop project goals and to launch project and program initiatives.
● Work with internal partners, business sponsors, product managers, developers, and other teams to develop and review project designs and business requirements.
● Research blockchain and cryptocurrency industry understanding where it's headed and provide insightful suggestions to the teams.

● Maintain detailed records in the CRM that enable the Business Development team to view your status at any point in time.
● Determine effective ways to involve others in the company to close deals.
● Demonstrate good time management and team communication skills.
● Meet and exceed sales quotas.
● Provide market intelligence and insights to the rest of the StormX team.
● Develop effective sales methods and work practices to share with future employees in the role.

Incentive Plan

● Base salary commensurate with experience
● 5% commission paid quarterly after the annual quota is achieved. Commission only paid if CRM is current for the client and the client has paid in full.

We are currently only looking for full-time hire in Seattle.
