Steebie is looking for a social media and content manager to join our expanding Marketing department. Our team of ambitious, talented AI developers, designers is looking for a new teammate to join. You will be working to build our social media presence and humanize our brand through the thorough execution of brand and content strategies that engage our clients. You will also educate, inspire, and grow our assistants, who are eager to learn from your direction. Ideal candidates are both creative and strategic, with experience in planning, personas, customer experience, and digital acquisition. This is an amazing opportunity to own our social presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts and build brand value.


Your Ideal Profile:

You can build strategy and execution, and understand how to connect and optimize social media metrics against business priorities. You have successfully managed a social media management platform to post, track, listen, measure, and optimize social media performance (bonus points if you've actually implemented a new social management platform or process). You've developed social media management programs that hit the right balance between controlling for quality and risk, and not stifling creativity or enthusiasm of teams that contribute to a brand's social media content.

Social Media Manager duties and responsibilities
* Lead social strategy, including identifying opportunities for audience and traffic growth across all social platforms and managing our content calendar
* Monitor and respond to comments and engagement daily
* Manage and oversee social media content
* Assist Director of Acquisition with quarterly analytics reports that are shared between various teams and departments
* Analyze performance of our social content and provide insight to the team on a weekly basis
* Monitor competitor activity across social media platforms
* Edit photo and video content for use across all content platforms
* Create and run social media trainings for our assistants, helping with content strategy and creative development (some have very large followings!)
* Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
* Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
* Use social media marketing tools
* Help manage corporate email marketing campaigns
* Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
* Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
* Grow our social following using strategic growth strategies and innovative content
* Manage our company blog including writing or curating multiple blog posts per week leveraging best practices for SEO
* Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
* Scout, hire and train others on the team
* Provide constructive feedback and report to Senior Management


Who You Are:
* 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
* 2+ years of experience managing social media for an established brand
* BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
* Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
* Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media best practices
* Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
* Experience with doing audience and buyer research
* Good understanding of social media KPIs
* Familiarity with web design and publishing
* Excellent multi-tasking skills
* Great leadership skills
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
* Team player
* Perfect time-management skills
* Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
* Strong writing skills, with an emphasis on writing for the web and engaging social content
* Familiarity with both paid and organic social strategies
* Understanding of tone and marketing messaging as it relates to customer acquisition and brand guidelines
* Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite; Google Analytics a plus
* Organized and ambitious, with a strong dedication to accuracy and follow-through
* Solution-oriented problem solver who enjoys a good challenge
* Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
