What You’ll Be Doing

You'll help brands find their voice in the fast-growing voice ecosystem. You'll prospect, consult, close, and coordinate large-scale brand sponsorships in a totally new medium alongside voice-driven media from top content creators. You'll help shape the first sponsorship units in voice and define success in the ecosystem.


Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle, including lead generation, and selling relationship with brand and agency clients from first meeting through campaign execution, ensuring that recommendations are smart and grounded in creative insight
Create innovative sponsorship and advertising campaigns that drive value for our clients
Serve as an ambassador for SpokenLayer and evangelize voice-driven media to prospects and clients
Collaborate internally with the leaders of other departments (Content, Customer Success, Engineering) to improve and execute on client deliverables, process, and output
The ability to simplify complex topics, build strong relationships, and quickly gain trust with brands and agencies will be key in this role

Required Skills/Experience

A Bachelor's degree or Entrepreneurial street creds with 5+ years of experience working within digital media, publishing, advertising, marketing, or technology - ideally at an intersection of one or more of these spaces
Proven track record of success selling across multiple stakeholders and complex sales processes in a number of verticals
Able to provide documented sales achievement against assigned quota
Experience generating pipeline outside of marketing efforts including cold calling against designated targets
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to grow relationships with partner brands and agencies
A glass-half-full outlook that contributes to an already ridiculously-strong company culture and healthy business
