Spacelist is the leading commercial real estate listing platform in Canada (and recently expanded to the US), helping thousands of businesses find office, retail and industrial space. We solve a problem tens of thousands of businesses have each month across Canada - trying to find space for their new or expanding business. Spacelist provides access to a robust marketplace of available properties across Canada and the US, as well as the ability to be matched with a local real estate professional. We've also recently invested in a new platform that will facilitate the entire end-to-end leasing process, from agreement creation and e-signing to payment and lease management.


Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for our Engine, Analytics, and Marketing products. You're entrepreneurial, a self-starter, and have an in-depth background in scaling B2B sales programs - commercial real estate related experience is preferred but not required. You understand the importance of how our products solve problems for businesses and real estate professionals. You know how to analyze data, measure results, and act on them in real-time to rapidly scale revenue. You'll be responsible for growing and leading the sales and marketing team, leveraging your successful track record of managing and growing high-performance sales/marketing programs.


- Researching, prioritizing, and qualifying leads
- Identify/grow sales opportunities for current product offerings
- Develop analytic sales program/strategy
- Find scalable processes to prospect and reach decision-makers
- Initiate and develop long-lasting relationships with commercial clients
- Work closely with the product team to make sure customers are extremely happy with the service
- Perform sales calls and onboard client prospects
- Manage relevant accounts and actively maintain CRM (HubSpot)
- Proven track record of closing leads, exceeding sales quota goals and managing the sales pipeline
- Strong cold-calling skills and ability to self-source up to 100%
- Strong network of B2B contacts in Canada/US


- You have at least 8 years of professional experience in senior sales/marketing roles for tech companies.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Expert in digital marketing, funnel development, and demonstrated ability using performance metrics to track progress on goal achievement
- Prior experience building out and developing sales and marketing processes
- Strong B2B marketing/sales experience
- You are a disciplined, self-aware, self-starter with the ability to lead in an unstructured environment.
- You’re proficient in Google Apps, Sales CRMs and online lead gen techniques
- You have excellent oral/written skills and e-mail etiquette
- You’re highly organized and have excellent attention to detail
- You can work under pressure and prioritize responsibilities
- You have proven problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
- Commercial Real Estate experience preferred but is not required
