Sourcewater, Inc. (sourcewater.com) is the leading oilfield water intelligence platform and the fastest-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company in the energy industry. After five years of building our technology and our reputation, sales are exploding. We need to grow our marketing team quickly to accelerate demand for our services. We are looking for a smart, creative, and meticulous Marketing Coordinator with excellent writing and technical skills.

You will help the Chief Marketing Officer generate demand for Sourcewater’s services through digital marketing, social media, content creation, lead list research and CRM management. In the process you will learn the cutting edge of digital marketing and sales operations best practices from the best in the industry. You will be one of the first 30 people in one of the fastest growing companies in Houston, changing one of the world’s largest industries. This position has big career upside for the right person.

Essential Duties

Content Creation/Website Management:
• Keep our (WordPress) website up to date with new stories and press releases
• Write and post one blog article per week on news and trends in our markets
• Promote our content on social media platforms.
• Create broadcast emails using marketing software
• Post podcast content to website and promote via email and social media.
• Write press releases and promote content via wire services
• Manage graphic design of ads and content

Sales Operations:
• Work with the Chief Marketing Officer to understand target prospect profiles
• Work with target profile research tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn
• Hire and manage consultants to do list curation and cleaning.
• Create list templates defining the data needed for each target profile
• Manage event leads including business cards to create useable lists
• Deliver polished prospect lists to VP of Sales Operations for the CRM

Social Media Marketing:
• Develop social media posting schedule and strategy
• Curate content and news for our industry and markets
• Create Facebook and LinkedIn social media posts with links to content
• Review analytics of paid media to understand ROI
