Our newly formed Supply Growth team has the lofty goal of building the infrastructure to enable Sonder to accelerate its portfolio growth in any market across any asset class in the world. We do this by partnering closely with our Real Estate and Expansion teams on initiatives at each stage of the portfolio growth lifecycle from initial strategy and research, to lead generation and funnel optimization, to ultimate investment decisions.



We are looking for a Director of Sales Operations who will be instrumental in driving portfolio growth. This critical new role will report to the Head of Supply Growth and be responsible for proposing, developing, and implementing sales infrastructure, analytics, and advanced processes which drive the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Real Estate Organization.



AT SONDER YOU WILL:

* Build the team and infrastructure to drive Real Estate team productivity
* Collaborate with the broader Supply Growth team (Growth, Investment Analysis & Research) to increase speed and efficiency across the Real Estate sales cycle
* Help define sales strategy including segmentation, coverage, and job design
* Build, refine, rollout and monitor the insights needed across the Real Estate organization
* Design sales workflows for all relevant go-to-market channels
* Partner closely with Real Estate management to inspect process quality, prioritize opportunities for improvement, and facilitate an organization of continuous improvement
* Create and manage quota setting and management, training and education, program implementation, compensation design and administration, and other processes
* Oversee implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with our Technology team



WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

* 8+ years of professional experience; ideal candidate has prior experience building and leading sales operations at a rapidly scaling technology company
* Significant experience in sales, strategy, operations, and analytics
* Excellent quantitative skills with proven ability to combine data-driven analytical rigor with strategic thinking to drive insights and influence business decisions
* Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving business landscape
* Excellent relationship-building skills and experience working with senior executives
* Proficient in data analysis, visualization, and related tools; strong quantitative backgrounds (stats, economics, math, finance, etc.) preferred
* Knowledge of real estate industry marketing and sales cycle is a major plus
