Our hospitality agents are the face of Sonder and our eyes and ears on the ground throughout the city. This is one of the most versatile roles at the company and perfect for anyone who hates the idea of sitting at a desk all day. This particular role will focus on two key areas:

Onboarding: When we take over new units, we call this time period 'onboarding'. During this time we must execute the furnishing, photoshoot, deep clean and a lot of other processes in a rapid yet efficient manner, ensuring even the smallest of task is completed with nothing less than precision.

Quality Audits: Onboarding new units and buildings often come in waves; during times of no onboarding, you'll be focused on bringing our guest issues down through impeccable quality audits, where we check the cleanliness and functionality of all live units. You'l be expected to spot even the smallest of issues and ensure they are quickly rectified prior to our guests arriving.


AT SONDER YOU WILL:
* Work under the leadership of the Operations Manager, Operations Coordinator and Hospitality Agent Team Leads to ensure we are offering the highest level of guest experience possible.
* Help furnish and onboard new Sonder locations, bringing them from empty to guest-ready in just a few days.
* Be able to make quick decisions to rectify any guest issues in a quick and efficient manner.
* Work alongside other Hospitality Agents and our remote guest team, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring they are completed to the highest degree without supervision
* Run an efficient process and consistently work to grow our bottom line through cost savings and creative solutions
* Work with our procurement coordinators at HQ and our local third-party logistics partners to ensure furniture deliveries are properly accounted for, scheduled, and completed
* Walkthrough new locations with our interior design partners to get items ordered in a timely fashion
* Be the owner of our onboarding speed; we want it to happen fast without quality suffering
* Ensure our asset registry system is always up to date
* Work with your team to ensure all new locations have the basics like plates, cutlery, toasters, hangers, brooms, HDMI cords, etc.
* Help with the day to day management of our locations, jumping in where you’re needed
* Become the master of quality control and make sure we’re always delivering on the Sonder Promise

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
* You're organized, hard working, detail oriented, and energetic, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do everything you can to make sure our guests have a great stay.
* You have the gumption and confidence to work autonomously out in the field with minimal supervision. You are able to see what needs to be done, and ensure you see a task through to completion without assistance or help.
* You can forecast problems in advance so we act in a preventative manner rather than a fire-fighting manner.
* You are a detail-oriented individual who love check lists and are capable of spotting tiny details that make sure we deliver on the Sonder Promise each and every time.
* You have a great attitude and always have a smile on your face.
* Must be tech-savy: we work with slack, Asana and lots of google sheets!
* You are comfortable making quick decisions and acting upon them. You can forsee problems arising and stop them before they happen.
* You excel in a hands-on working environment. Each day at Sonder will be different: you need to enjoy a fast paced working style and be quick at reacting to last minute changes. If you prefer to sit at a desk from 9am-5pm, this is not the position for you.
* You have basic handyperson skills for quick fixes on-site!
