We are building the world's first deconstructed hotel - with apartments, houses, condos, villas, and lofts that you can book at a moment's notice. Each location, in unique and explorable neighborhoods, is one-of-a-kind and hand-picked by Sonder. Our units are designed by our talented interior designers and serviced by us to our exact standards: 24/7 concierge service, Wi-Fi, professionally cleaned homes, comfortable beds, crisp linens, and over 200 other standards.

● Perform financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations to help management with business decisions.
● Perform monthly accounting close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
● Develop and implement process improvements, document desktop procedures and processes to achieve efficiencies.
● Proactively pursue business issues that impact the general ledger and identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing time/resource-saving solutions.
● Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
● Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.
● Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements


● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
● 4+ years professional experience, with at least 2 years of relevant month-end close experience
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Previous experience working in a large ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) environment
● Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
● Strong business acumen, analytical skills, detailed-oriented
● CPA preferred
