At Sonder we're reimagining travel, hospitality, and how cities are experienced. Sonder started a little over 3 years ago and is now active in 13 markets and 1200+ locations. We have over 200 employees and are headquartered in San Francisco.

We are building the world's first deconstructed hotel - with apartments, houses, condos, villas, and lofts that you can book at a moment's notice. Each location, in a unique and explorable neighborhoods, is one-of-a-kind and hand-picked by Sonder. Our units are designed by our talented interior designers and serviced by us to our exact standards: 24/7 concierge service, Wi-Fi, professionally cleaned homes, comfortable beds, crisp linens, and over 200 other standards.

AT SONDER YOU WILL:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with national multifamily owners and developers, property managers, and other key partners.
• Sign master lease and partnership deals with contacts in expansion cities to grow Sonder’s real estate portfolio.
• Represent Sonder at industry events, conferences, speaking engagements, etc.
• Develop sponsorship, conference attendance, and speaking engagement proposals that will mutually beneficial the target organization and Sonder.
• Build Sonder’s profile with third party stakeholders, influencers, and other audiences.
• Serve as a liaison between key accounts and Sonder real estate team members.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including real estate, executive, product, and public policy teams.
• Help build technology and infrastructure that will help Sonder provide the best real estate product to our partners.

• You’re an accomplished closer who is self-driven. You’ve mastered the art of presenting a value proposition and handling objections while inspiring trust.
• You have and build powerful networks. You can find your way to anyone in the city, particularly when it comes to real estate.
• You are analytical, decisive and have the entrepreneurial drive to craft and implement a strategic plan for property acquisition.
• You are an innovator, a leader, and a forward thinker. You equally recognize the merits of how deals and real estate have been traditionally approached but seek out envelope pushing advancements for the future.
• You have experience in a real estate related role and can design sophisticated partnerships in order to create long-term value.
• You have experience in real estate development and are familiar with the process to get a project from conceptualization through permitting to final execution.
• You’re an overachiever. You set high goals and then exceed them.
• You can deftly navigate the public policy environment and have a knack for understanding and influencing the legal/regulatory framework.
• You’re a strategic thinker who has led organizations through rapid growth.
• You’re an outstanding communicator with the ability to communicate complex deals in simple terms.
• At least eight years of relevant real estate experience, including some combination of multifamily property management, leasing, real estate acquisitions, or development.
• Extensive relationships with national and international real estate partners.
• Ability to quickly get up to speed on complex technical and specific Sonder real estate underwriting requirements.
• Self starter with a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a fast moving environment.
