We are building the world's first deconstructed hotel - with apartments, houses, condos, villas, and lofts that you can book at a moment's notice. Each location, in unique and explorable neighborhoods, is one-of-a-kind and hand-picked by Sonder. Our units are designed by our talented interior designers and serviced by us to our exact standards: 24/7 concierge service, Wi-Fi, professionally cleaned homes, comfortable beds, crisp linens, and over 200 other standards.

• Draft, review, and revise various types of contractual agreements in connection with real estate management and leasing.
• Review, markup, and prepare redline responses to counter-offers made by prospective landlords and their legal counsel.
• Write lease template language in consultation with attorneys and Sonder’s real estate team to create non-economic clauses that facilitate the management of the property over the life of the deal.
• Review and interpret lease terms from deal spreadsheets and LOIs prior to drafting lease agreements.
• Onboard new landlords in the collection and distribution of documents such as W2, insurance certificates, etc after lease execution.
• Facilitate and track routing and signature of various documents/forms/lease documents.
• Overall control of original lease documentation and maintenance of master lease files.
• Receive and set up all lease documents into Sonder’s systems in accordance.
Assist General Managers, Property Managers, and Real Estate Business Developers with all aspects of processing lease documents through lease execution.
• Utilize, update and manage all tools and resources available to manage workload, including SalesForce, checklists, databases, logs and/or other related reporting tools.
• Work with other company departments, i.e., accounting and finance as necessary.

• At least three years’ relevant commercial and/or residential real estate experience.
• Paralegal experience is a plus.
• Extensive document drafting experience, including redlining, and comparison features.
• Ability to handle a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to quickly get up to speed on complex technical and specific Sonder real estate underwriting requirements.
• Self starter with a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a fast moving environment.
