At Sonder we're reimagining travel, hospitality and ultimately how cities are experienced. Sonder started a little over 3 years ago and is now active in 13 markets and 1100+ locations. We have over 200 employees and headquartered in San Francisco.

We are building the world's first deconstructed hotel - with apartments, houses, condos, villas, and lofts that you can book at a moment's notice. Each location is one-of-a-kind and chosen by us. Typically, we've selected a unique and explorable neighborhood and equip our guest with Neighborhood Guides full of wisdom about the best places to eat, drink, shop, and relax. Our units are designed by our talented interior designers, and serviced by us to our exact standards: 24/7 concierge service, Wi-Fi, professionally cleaned homes, comfortable beds, crisp linens, and over 200 other standards.

Sonder is building the future of hospitality and our operations team provides many essential functions to deliver on that mission -- everything from onboarding new Sonder units to providing a world-class hospitality experience. We're looking for someone who is overachieving, detail-oriented, highly organized, passionate about hospitality, and experienced in operations and project management to join our team. As an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for devising, planning and implementing new initiatives within operations to ensure we’re constantly improving. From executing new business models to implementing new programs that improve the guest experience, this is a job for someone who is scrappy, thrives in ambiguity, and is willing to put in the hard work to build new processes and systems.

AT SONDER YOU WILL:

• Work closely with our Directors of Operations to scope projects and drive projects to meaningful conclusion reporting performance on key metrics and identifying appropriate next steps
• Partner with our design team, general managers, and local city ops teams to execute on key improvement projects
• Be a master of throughput and quality control for all projects to make sure that key partners and internal stakeholders are constantly on track
• Be a key advisor to our leadership team on new initiatives and efforts we should consider

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• 4-7 years of professional experience
• Experience in large-scale, cross-functional project management
• Proven track record of prioritizing numerous tasks in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines and without continued direct supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to see big picture and strategize as well as attention to detail and time management
• Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors
