With SomeBuddy’s AI powered digital lawyer we can offer concrete help for all social media users who have been cyberbullied, harassed or otherwise offended online. Our current team of 10 holds a unique combination of AI, tech, legal and social psychological expertise. Now we are in search of a new team member to provide emotional support for our users in Sweden. Is it you?

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled person to work with our growing team in Stockholm. You would be a part of our service team and in charge of providing emotional support and psychological first-aid for our users. The most important asset in this role is in-depth understanding of the needs of people encountered with digital threats. We are looking for a professional who is capable of offering emotional support in digital environment for children, youngster and adults.

As in every startup, you would have a broad job description and no day would be the same. Your main task is to work in the SomeBuddy's service team. Together with your team you would deliver the world’s best service to help people who have encountered cyberbullying, online harassment or other insults and crimes in social media.

In addition to constructing the emotional support elements for our users, the role of Digital Empathy Specialist would include collaboration with different stakeholders and partners as well as content creation and communication related tasks.

We are looking for a productive multitalent who embraces our mission to enable access to justice and safer digital communities. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of experience in offering psychosocial support to children and young adults. Experience in conflict resolution and crisis management is also highly appreciated. There are multiple professional backgrounds that qualify for this job, e.g. psychologist, social psychologist, social worker and teacher. Last but not least, the ideal candidate is able to express oneself vividly in various forms of communication, especially in written. Excellent skills in Swedish (native level speaker) and English are mandatory, of course Finnish is a plus.

We offer an independent role within an inspiring and dynamic team. Creating new services is most of all team work, so naturally we are looking for a great team worker and nice colleague. We have a super crew and have a blast together. Still, we would advise to prepare for a startup rollercoaster. You would work mainly in Stockholm, but some traveling is also necessary due to our multilocal team. Our HQ is in Helsinki.
