Operations FellowNo salary
Term: Minimum 20 hrs/week, full-time preferred over the course of 12-16 weeks
Position Overview: Work hand-in-glove with our Operations team to complete activities related to its next fundraise. Your role will involve hands-on research of various fundraising opportunities, and a deep dive into the processes and needs of an early-stage company looking to secure its next round of financial capital. You will learn from all departments of the company and collaborate across teams to perform the due diligence work required by potential financiers. Previous experience and education in startups, CRMs, and early-stage fundraising would be an advantage, and candidates that are analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to experience a real fundraising effort are encouraged to apply. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to dive right in, willing to learn on the fly, and eager to contribute wherever needed.
Assist on all fundraising tasks at the company
Conduct research on and prepare presentation materials for funders and potential business partners, and track all interactions with them
Compile and organize disparate data into presentations and fundraising CRM
Take notes on fundraising meetings and calls
Draft applications for funding opportunities
Who You Are:
Highly organized and detail-oriented person who does not let tasks slip through the cracks
Excellent command of the written word
Experience (or strong interest) in getting things done, finance, fundraising, organization, and research
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Excel and Google Docs
Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Team player mentality and positive attitude
