• Seek to identify new markets and customers.
• Responsible for generating sales with and developing opportunities with new customers.
• Identification, qualification, pursuit and capture all sales opportunities with the objective of maximizing sales.
• Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with customers.
• Understanding the customer requirements and communicating it to the R&D team
• Lead the preparation, submission, tracking and closing of quotations and proposals.
• On award of contract, ensure effective handover to operations department for execution.
• Develop and implement strategies for key accounts, tenders and strategic deals.
• Make sales presentations to senior level customers.
• Work with internal team to prepare market assessments, competitive analysis and sales forecasts


• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B sales
• An engineering or commercial background, as well as technical capabilities and commercial acumen, is a necessity.
• Advanced proficiency in MS office
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Experience writing and conducting presentations in a corporate setting
• High level of understanding around engineering products and services
• Proven negotiating skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels within customer organisations and within the company
• Highly organised, flexible and maintain confidentiality
• Personnel management skills
• Must be a self-starter and be able to complete projects with limited supervision.
