Softlyze is disrupting the “vendor-first” technology sales industry by focusing on what matters: generously rewarded account executives supporting customer engagement and their initiatives for client success. The technology market has shifted; salespeople are funneled through a revolving door, while vendors are a commodity, and no longer exclusive or monopolistic. Many have lost sight of what matters, as their systematic, assembly line approach, doesn't properly value the two most critical things in a transaction; salesmanship and the customer's control of the dollar. Dissatisfied with this status quo, Softlyze created a better approach. Instead of account executives focusing on one solution and hyper-penetrating their contacts, they meet the customer where they are, acting as an advisor and intermediary to support the customer's investigation, selection, and acquisition across many solutions. This flexibility enables the account executive to truly become a customer first individual; able to support in many ways - including net-new purchases, maintenance renewals, training, implementation, upgrades, or project related services. Customers are always buying some form of technology, ensuring there is always a sale to support and you're not just managing a customer. By not being limited to one product or service, sales representatives can also assist multiple transactions simultaneously. Behind the scenes, Softlyze leverages a complex set of relationships to buy technology at wholesale prices and flip the licenses directly or use on-going referral payments for indirect licensing or services recommendations. This means that while acting as a preferred and trusted advisor, regardless of who the client selects, the account executive is paid. The end state is a better-equipped client, supported by a software expert, who has fully vetted any eligible vendors, engaging in transactions where reduced cost and project success are the real focus of the sale.
