Goals & Objectives

Illustrate SODA’s core values of optimism and playfulness and strive to achieve our mission of making tech for everyone. Lead the Community Management function to achieve the following:

• Develop a loyal and engaged SODA community in the US against established targets across all channels
• Create and maintain an events program that promotes SODA content, merchandise, and core values
• Creation of a collaborative environment for our community through these events
• Maintenance of high engagement through content and attendance of events
• Driving growth and promotion of SODA merchandise and service offerings
• Maintaining company standards and expectations
• Managing building KPI’s

Community Management & Events

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between community members, including member introductions, overseeing events, digital and print communications
• Understand every aspect of the community from a persona perspective and be SODA’s community representative at all events
• Solve member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community and manage member expectations
• Oversee events to ensure there is a good balance of educational, and lead generating and sales-related events to drive community growth and online sales
• Proactively gather data on members’ objectives of SODA and identify how to incorporate feedback into content and future events
• Identify opportunities and act on them to connect members
• Recommend best practices, including but not limited to community management, sales, events, and engagement
• Design and manage reporting mechanism to founders around community engagement and acquisition

Experience & Requirements

• Passion for technology, and SODA’s mission and values
• College graduate with a four-year degree.
• Management of community for online businesses
• Project management and business operations experience required
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Cold-outreach experience a plus
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
• Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities
