Product Delivery Manager - Industry Expert

As an industry expert Product Delivery Manager, you’ll work closely with clients to define the requirements for their deployments and consult on how Socotra can meet their business goals. As part of that process you’ll configure Socotra to prototype solutions and kick off deployments. You’ll also represent Socotra at industry conferences to build our brand and drive industry outreach efforts. Finally, the product and engineering teams will lean on your subject matter expertise to ensure excellence in our platform features.

Responsibilities
Generate sales and partnership leads
Create marketing materials
Guide customers through project definition
Gather detailed client project requirements
Configure Socotra for the client
Provide insurance expertise to the product/eng team
Define feature requirements for the product/eng team

Requirements
5+ years of experience in an insurance-related field
Willingness to travel 30% of the time (on average)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic programming experience
Willingness to be based at Socotra HQ
Comfort with ambiguity and handling demanding customers
Excitement for learning new technology
Strong bias towards collaboration and transparency

Nice to Haves
Experience interacting with insurance company management
Basic knowledge of Python
