We are looking for an Office Manager to join our team as we continue to scale our internal headcount and operations. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to our inclusive, high-performance workplace culture while assisting with the day-to-day management of our Queen West office. In this role you’ll always be juggling a ton of competing priorities, so you need to be comfortable multitasking effectively, managing your time independently and executing on work with high attention to detail. We love food, team bonding events and have strong opinions about coffee… as our Office Manager you’ll help us to take each one to the next level!

- Office Management: with 60 full-time employees in our downtown Toronto office, you’ll help to make sure that “all the trains are running on time” — this could be anything from keeping the office stocked up with supplies and healthy snacks, building out a process for how new employees can order things for their workstation on Amazon, or managing our relationships with external vendors like cleaning staff and caterers.
- Events Coordination: we are big fans of fun events, whether it’s a Toronto Raptors game or a picnic at Trinity-Bellwoods. You will be responsible for coordinating & scheduling regular team events and weekly lunches, and administering employee recognition programs such as anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
- Special Projects: there are always special projects and surprises, whether it’s a visit from a celebrity investor, a company-wide town hall meeting or running a survey to find out what the team thinks would help them do better work. You’ll be able to pitch in, lead projects, and lend a hand wherever and whenever you can :)

- You have some experience working in a very people-heavy environment, such as restaurants, hospitality or customer service roles
- You have strong interpersonal skills and can work well with different personalities across the team
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- You can think outside the box and bring creative and innovative ideas to the table
- You have excellent time and project management skills.
- You have strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously

After applying, you'll receive an email with all of this info. So feel free to skip it for now.
- Review - you'll hear from us within 48 hours of applying
- Phone Call - a quick call to learn who you are (resumes suck, we want to know the real you!)
- Interview - 30 - 60 min onsite with our Head of Talent; a chance for Q&A with leadership and deep dive into the role, your growth expectations, etc.

- this role will start as a part-time role, but has the opportunity to go full-time in the future if desired
- this role will be paid hourly, and will be eligible for benefits after first month
- the hours for this role will be flexible, but ideally you'll be able to work 4 days a week from around 10am to 2pm
