Frontend Developer (Dynamic Ads)

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to join team TopGun, responsible for campaign management solution for large-scale Facebook advertising. In this role you will be building one of the most distributed parts of our SaaS for the largest advertisers in the world such as Uber or eBay. With your help we would like to elevate the team’s frontend skills to the next level.

Our team of currently five developers and one product manager is an independent fullstack team, so communicating with other engineers, product managers and designers, and even customers is essential. Our current frontend stack consists of React typed with Typescript. Oldest parts of the codebase still use AngularJS, so being able to read AngularJS and refactor it to React is a plus. Being able to work with backend technologies like PHP or Ruby on Rails is a big plus.

Projects you get to work with:

• UX improvements. Optimization of backend queries to reduce rendering latencies when working with large data sets. Reconsidering UI when working with complex multiparameter settings in close collaboration with product managers and designers.
• Fighting technical debt. No one likes working with technical debt and that is why the best approach is to plan thoroughly and get rid of it finally. We expect you not to be afraid of radical changes and driving our technologies.
• Building new features! Our product managers have ambitious plans to expand Smartly’s product and we really want our UI to shine.
