ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION:
Six Beats Of Separation™ is a celebrity-driven nonprofit media producing entity. We create, through personal photo sessions and in-depth interviews, lasting tangible moments of celebrities sharing songs that have deep personal meaning for them. This content is then distributed to viewers all over the world in a variety of formats. This content is monetized in a variety of ways creating revenue that benefits an ever-expanding portfolio of charitable causes. Our mission is to educate, inspire, enlighten and unite people by instilling in them the importance and power of sharing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Chief Financial Officer’s overall responsibility is the management of the financial aspects of the organization. This includes financial reporting on a timely basis, overseeing eCommerce accounting, allocation of funds to other charitable concerns, maintaining bank relationships, cash management, budget preparation, contract review, employee reimbursements, oversight of employee benefits programs, coordination of annual audit and governmental information returns. The Chief Financial Officer reports to the Founder and works closely with the organization’s Treasurer and members of the Board of Directors.

REQUIREMENTS:
►A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area from an accredited college or university MBA and/or CPA preferred
►Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in finance, preferably in a nonprofit organizational setting, of which at least three (3) years were in a senior financial leadership capacity with overall responsibility for the fiscal affairs of an organization.
►Understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices and standards
►Experience within the media and entertainment industry a plus
►Applicant should have extensive non-profit financial management experience and outstanding communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal).
►The candidate should be able to interpret complex financial data concisely to a range of different audiences.
►Candidate must be positive and solution-oriented, and able to manage change in a growing organization.
►A proven record of achievement in the financial functions within an organization
►The ideal candidate has the highest level of integrity, an excellent work ethic and has the ability to perform professionally.
►The candidate should be able to build and motivate a support staff, help establish realistic performance goals and evaluate staff for goal achievement, compensation, and responsibility enhancement.
►Strong accounting and financial management skills with experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, e-commerce.
►Strategic thinker, with the imagination and foresight to conceptualize new ideas and opportunities as well as the implementation skills to bring them to fruition.
►Experience conducting month-end and year-end close, revenue recognition, budget creation and management, and cash management.
►Operational finance approach to the business to include proactive forecasting, analysis, and projections.
►Hands-on experience in developing and implementing financial systems, controls, operational processes, and documentation.
