SimSpace is looking for a UX Engineer with expert capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences that will help shape the future of realistic environments used for cyber security testing, training, and tool development. Our diverse users drive both what we create and how we define success. Our challenge is to make interaction with complex technical concepts and dense real-time information easy and fluid. We apply a consistent design approach so that our tools and infrastructure get out of the way, enabling our customers to think less about their software and focus on the content.

This individual excels in a range of UX disciplines and has a proven ability to create clean, production-ready front-end code for complex, enterprise-scale applications. The candidate takes a highly analytical, organized approach to researching, designing, and implementing highly creative design solutions. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.

We are seriously disrupting the status quo for Cyber Security Ranges to allow companies to better understand their risk and improve through practice and experimentation. We are a fast-moving company that needs the right kind of talent and determination to join our team. We are protective of our company culture and will carefully consider how well you fit in. We’re a start-up that must ship. There are real technical challenges, but if it were easy, anyone could do it. We need your talent to succeed. We’re still small, so it’s a great time to join us.
