WHAT WE DO

SIEMonster is the brainchild of a team of professional hackers with over 20 years’ experience hacking into companies around the world. Using this experience, SIEMonster has built modern security SIEM tools for companies wanting to detect threats and risks to their organization.

It all began when a global manufacturer detailed their frustrations at the exorbitant licensing costs of commercial SIEM products and asked whether we could build a SIEM to minimize these annual license fees. We thought that was a great idea and set out to build a SIEM that we would also use. SIEMonster now provides SIEM products for Managed Security Providers (MSSP’s) and Security Professionals around the world.

THE ROLE

SIEMonster is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who wants to begin the path to a career in enterprise software sales and is looking for an opportunity to do this in a hyper growth, market disruptor. You have great communication and a strong work ethic. You can work both autonomously as well as a member of a team.

In the SDR role, you will commence the sales cycle by following up on sales led outreach campaigns as well as prospecting and cold calling via primarily the phone but also with complementary email and social selling tasks. All of this work will be to provide ongoing, qualified sales opportunities to SIEMonster’s Enterprise Sales Director. This is a salaried position with a variable compensation for meeting quarterly objectives that are critical to the overall success of SIEMonster.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

• Generate new sales leads through a mixture of calling and emailing

• Following up on sales led campaigns as well as self-generated prospect lists

• Schedule meetings and product demos for the Enterprise Sales Director

• Understand SIEMonster’s offerings and effectively communicate and apply them to each prospect’s needs

• Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Sales Directors and if required the CEO and CSO to identify new opportunities, markets and channels

• Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com

• Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• 1-2 years of experience in prospecting or solutions sales or marketing into enterprise sized accounts (Required)

• An appetite to make a minimum 60 customer contacts per day (Required)

• Prior experience using Salesforce (Required)

• Experience in the cyber security sector (Desirable)
