SideChef, named 'best entrepreneurial company' by Entrepreneur.com, is looking for a User Acquisition Manager to help architect and lead our digital marketing efforts as we continue to evolve our product portfolio, add partners, and build our community of home cooks who have cooked over 2.5 million meals with our app to date (named 'favorite cooking app' of the New York Times and 'best apps of 2017' by Google Play). This person will be responsible for paid and organic customer acquisition, the customer journey, and ongoing strategy and optimization of our direct digital channels to drive engagement with our guided cooking platform, featuring cutting edge cooking experiences of tomorrow, such integrations with AmazonFresh, LG, Sharp, Electrolux, and many more to come.

This person will join our newly established San Francisco office reporting to Director of Marketing, where you’ll drive cross-functional efforts across acquisition and lifecycle marketing, working with product, marketing and engineering to grow our user-base, retention and continue to pioneer the cooking platform category. For someone able to bring the start-up grit, resolve, and resourcefulness, there will be rapid growth opportunities in this position.


Responsibilities:

- Work with the Growth team to establish our UA framework, process, and tools across a variety of digital channels including organic/web, paid social, SEM, SEO, display, and native.
- Efficiently manage users acquisition budget to hit aggressive UA goals.
- Identify new partners, platforms, and optimization opportunities to drive. campaign performance across multiple channels including paid and organic.
- Implement innovative campaigns that align w/ ROI goals, strategic initiatives, and industry best practices.
- Drive cross-department funnel optimization and testing efforts.
- Create customer segmentation strategy to enable efficient customer acquisition across responsible channels.
- Build out and manage key marketing dashboards and systems tools that provide insight and transparency into performance and success.

Qualifications:

- 1 to 3 years of UA experience, preferably within the consumer mobile app category.
- 1+ years experience running mobile install campaigns with all major paid social media advertising platforms.
- 1+ years experience with cross-channel (email, push, in-app) messaging platform.
- Demonstrated track record in growth experimentation and funnel optimization.
- Highly analytical with hands on experience pulling data, building reports and analyzing large sets of data. Expert in Excel, BI tools and SQL and query skills a bonus.
- Experience with adtech stack, including tracking and measurement, bid management/automation, and attribution.
- Cross-functional team experience, working with marketing, product, engineering, analytics, and design to drive performance.
- Clear understanding of the mobile advertising space and the mobile app market.
Familiarity/experience with agile and scrum.
