Esper is experiencing hyper growth! We’re the industry’s first DevOps SaaS platform designed to provide a simple, safe, and secure way for engineering and DevOps teams to release applications and manage smart Android devices. Our device infrastructure enables developer, mid-market orgs, and enterprise fleets of 100,000+ devices to deliver their software as a service. Esper has rapidly-growing global customer adoption among some of the world’s most innovative major brands in retail, hospitality, logistics, and healthcare.

Esper is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help manage the inbound lead flow and drive the sales pipeline through outbound outreach. The SDRs at Esper work with technology teams across multiple industry verticals that are looking to maximize the ROI from their Android device fleet.

As an Esper SDR, you will qualify inbound leads, execute on outbound ABM campaigns, communicate with prospective customers, support the DevOps community in their early exploration of Esper, schedule time to understand company initiatives, and set up appointments between qualified leads and the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls and emails to inbound and outbound prospects in roles ranging from Software Developers to VP/C-level technology executives.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound lead traffic according to established SLAs.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to create opportunities for Inside Sales Team.
  • Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and internal technical resources.
  • Accurately track and record activities in Salesforce and Outreach.io.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing leadership in support of lead generation campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of sales development experience, including cold calling, emailing, social selling, or technical experience/experience prospecting technical personas and offering a complex technical solution (both are highly desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet and pivot based on prospects’ needs.
  • Comfort and success in multitasking, process management, and activity tracking.
  • Interest in developing a career in technology sales.
  • Commitment to personal and team success.
