The Role

As an Associate Digital Account Strategist, you'll be working with our hundreds of e-commerce merchants and direct-to-consumer brands to create compelling customer journey experiences through retargeting. You will help ensure merchants have a successful experience with Shoelace by helping them achieve their objectives, educating them about our product and investing in long-term, growth-oriented relationships.

Your day-to-day might involve analyzing customer accounts to propose new strategies and improvements to merchants’ Facebook / Instagram campaigns. You might jump on a call to help troubleshoot a problem or explain how one of our software integrations works. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead and contribute to projects that involve internal process improvements or expert content creation.

Through this role, you’ll continue to grow your digital marketing skills and expertise in ad platforms. You will participate directly in building the heart of the Shoelace experience and your efforts and learnings will help hundreds of businesses grow. Previous experience in digital marketing (Facebook / Instagram ads) will be strongly considered, but otherwise you should be confident that you can pick up and apply those skills quickly and effectively.


Key Responsibilities

- Build strong, growth-oriented relationships with your clients: be proactive, help them reach their goals, ensure consistent brand messaging across all stages of the funnel, educate and set the right expectations

- Create retargeting strategies based on your customers’ unique needs and build Facebook ad campaigns

- Monitor and optimize campaign performance to meet or exceed customers’

- KPIs and clear report results, trends, problems, and opportunities

- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of (ever-changing) Facebook tools for building campaigns, audiences, conversion tracking, and other tools used to deliver results

- Troubleshoot and share insights with customers, ranging from general to specific questions

- Work on internal projects to help achieve business goals and contribute wherever the team requires

Qualifications

Prior experience in digital marketing, eCommerce and/or social media
Superb client relationship management skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Results-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude
Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Curiosity and passion for learning and growth
