We’re looking to bring on our first ever Shipping Dispatch Manager! You will be in charge if shipping cars to and from each of our Hubs and manage inventory accurately.

Job Duties:

- Liaise with all transportation and shipping vendors, and assign work appropriately
- Manage all of our inter-market shipments
- Coaching the business on number of trucks needed, where, how we go about it, etc.
- Track and report all shipping costs and work to reduce costs as much as possible
- Audit and track ELD hours, following regulatory compliance requirements, specifically around ELD in accordance with FMCSA.
- Be intimately familiar with the precise whereabouts of on-site and off-site inventory
- Be very familiar with the general condition and specific status of each unit in our inventory.
- Determine exact vehicle disposition and schedule the unit for the required drop-offs and deliveries, based on system - - information concerning vehicle identity, location, and specific work being requested.
- Verify unit condition and check that sheet and/or shipper sign-off is secured.
- Initiates “shippers” for all assigned vehicles being transported to any destination by Porter or by Carrier.
- Ensures disclosure documentation is prepared and confirmed on all units being delivered to retro-fit or directly to Auction or directly to dealers.
- Responsibilities include contacting Auction directly to pick-up vehicles.
- Maintain on-going involvement with continuous improvement process in all areas of responsibility.


Requirements:
* 3-5 years of dispatching and/ or logistics experience
* Customer service oriented
* Computer savviness
* Proficient in Excel
* Comfortable with Salesforce (preferred not required)
