THE ROLE

SFL Scientific is looking for a dynamic Channel Sales Manager to join our growing team in the Boston area. This Channel Sales Manager will concentrate on generating qualified leads for the full set of SFL Consulting services including data strategy, data engineering and AI software development through our strategic partners in North America.

The CSM is responsible for building, cultivating, growing, and closing pipeline for SFL Scientific’s consulting services through strategic partnerships with first-tier established partners such as NVIDIA, Microsoft, AWS, and developing novel channels. This individual will build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated to qualified opportunities, prepare and facilitate presentations/proposals as well as close sales and finalize agreements with clients. The Channel Sales Manager will report to the VP of Sales and work closely with the CEO to drive growth in a rapidly expanding industry.

The individual in this position will have all the necessary resources to be set up for success for this career opportunity that provides a competitive base salary along with a lucrative, uncapped incentive compensation plan. We are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record in B2B sales and relationship management or working with technical professional services.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing the relationships necessary to generate qualified leads with the sales, marketing, and services organizations of key partners

• Establish credibility and reputation with partner organizations and their clients as the preferred partner for data science consulting projects

• Responsible for the go to market plan with each partner including managing relationships, expectations, and coordinating marketing and sales activities

• Owning the pipeline and coordinating sales pursuits of partner introductions and partner originated sales opportunities

• Leading effort of proposal creation and proposal strategy, including the response, orals, presentations, and overall client opportunity strategy

• Expanding go-to-market strategies to differentiate SFL Scientific with novel partners, channels, and clients.


QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience managing complex B2B clients & technical sales cycles

• Partnership and/or channel management experience

• Experience selling and providing advanced analytics, big data, AI, or machine learning-based solutions or services

• Ability to represent technical consulting services across a broad range of organizations and industries

• Ability to travel up to 50%


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful track record selling high-end, project-based, professional consulting services or software solutions, characterized by long sales cycles and both large ($1M+) and small dollar transactions

• Advanced Degree, Masters, MBA, engineering or data science background
