Account Executive

The Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing potential customers and nurturing them through the sales cycle. This person will initially be a “hunter,” tasked primarily with attracting and closing merchant customers. This will include cold calling, cold emailing, conducting phone and in-person meetings, and attending events and conferences. However, because Sezzle is so young, there is a great deal of opportunity for the role to grow with the company.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience selling payment solutions to eCommerce retailers, but we encourage people with other relevant sales experience to apply.

Other qualifications include:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in payments, software, and/or retail.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Understanding of alternative payments market is a plus.
- Proficient in Google Apps.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Pardot is a plus.
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Self-motivated.

This is a full-time position based out of our Minneapolis, MN office. Some travel is expected.

Equity is included in the compensation package received upon hire. This will be discussed during the interview process.
