About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Sales Executive with a zeal to lead, an unwavering team spirit, a positive attitude and a great sense to help clients. The Executive will be charged with driving revenue and account growth and building SEPTech’s presence in its client segments. The successful candidate will take ownership of building direct customer relationships that maximize revenue opportunities. You will be a key player on an incredible team as we execute our mission to help local governments become more efficient. The listed salary is the base salary, in addition to the possibiity for significant incentive bonus.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Help establish and tune our sales strategy for our services practice as well as our product sales LOB
• Drive revenue growth via local government and private-sector customers
• Develop a strategic plan to optimize pipeline creation and growth
• Prospect, pitch and close business for SEPTech’s products & services
• Build and maintain a revenue pipeline that ensures that you meet or exceed quota on a consistent basis
• Deliver feedback to our partners on product development and suggestions for product enhancements and improvements

Critical Skills:
• 4+ years of enterprise software & services selling experience
• Understanding of complex software implementations and solid grasp of technical concepts
• Direct experience in selling to government entities a PLUS
• Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to accurately project and manage a pipeline
• Proven ability to influence via indirect authority

The Ideal Candidate:
• Strong sales and presentation skills – a true closer!
• Experience in QA, automated testing, and/or government technical infrastructure
• Self-motivated, self-starter – an entrepreneurial spirit
• Great communicator (internally and externally)
• Hands on problem solver that enjoys cracking difficult nuts
• Quick study – able to pick up and apply new concepts in a hurry
• Track record of achievement
• Enjoys working on teams but succeeds even when flying solo
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and gets stuff done
• A sense of humor and doesn’t take him/herself too seriously
• Ability to travel up to 40% as needed
