Account Operations Manager [Contract Position]

We are looking for a motivated Account Operations Manager to manage purchasing activities for our major accounts as well as support in providing solutions for new accounts. This role has overall responsibilities for executing all aspects of the order management cycle and serving as a day-to-day customer interface.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Interpret complex business documents including customer purchase orders, contracts and agreements in order to accurately enter and manage orders according to requirements
* Review Work Orders, which are governed by an MSA to ensure SOW, Deliverables, Cost and Timelines are in line with certain requirements.
* Define the client requirements and draft a workflow to support these needs
* Assist in development of standard processes to improve operational efficiency
* Correspond with customers in a highly formal and professional manner
* Investigates, coordinates and resolves order issues, working cross functionally to resolve problems
* Assist in business process review and provide recommendations
* Project coordination to manage orders to on time updates
* Analyzes reports to identify potential issues in executing orders on time
* Drive performance to meet customer requirements
* Coordinate all purchase activity with business units to facilitate expediting procedure
* Interfaces with Business Managers regarding day to day activities as required
* Providing consultative solutions and required support to customers
* Other duties may be assigned as necessary

* Bachelor’s degree, plus if in the physical or life sciences
* 1-2 years of direct customer support, sales, account management or related experience
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Highly developed ability to professionally and clearly communicate with customers both verbally and in writing
* High degree of time management and organization required
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude
* Must be able to work in a team environment, anticipate needs, and exceed customer expectations
* Strong analytical skills, accurate keyboarding, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential
* Must enjoy a fast-paced and demanding environment
* Strong facilitation and coordination skills as well as excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
