Senior iOS Engineer$100k – $180k • 0.01% – 0.5%
Being an Senior iOS Engineer at SALIDO offers some unique challenges compared to the typical iOS problem set. We are building something that is completely different from any platform currently operating in the hospitality industry which means we are always innovating. While you will be tasked with hard and interesting engineering challenges, you will also be responsible for collaborating with our internal teams and external partners to better understand the problems being solved. As an iOS Engineer you will help build the products and services that will make the restaurant experience better for everyone - from the owners to the customers, and everyone in between.
-A skilled practitioner. You are well-versed in software and data design patterns. Your code is understandable, maintainable, and reusable.
-A fast learner. You thrive on applying your knowledge, learning new technologies and methodologies, and don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. You are able to adapt to meet the rapid pace of a rapidly evolving environment.
-Fearless. You think a working proof-of-concept is the best way to make a point. You believe that speed and quality are not conflicting; that you can achieve both at the same time.
-Versatile. In addition to having an intimate knowledge of core engineering fields, you understand how all the pieces fit together into integrated systems, and how they impact performance.
-Passionate. You feel ownership over everything you ship; you'd never call code "released" until you’re confident it’s correct. You have an innate desire to deliver and a strong sense of accountability for your work.
-A team player. You believe that you can achieve more on a team—that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. You rely on others' candid feedback for continuous improvement.
-Product-oriented with good business acumen. You understand requirements beyond the written word and how your technical contributions will influence the viability of future products.
-A Leader. You have experience translating product requirements into technical specs, then leading others including remote engineers to successful delivery of features.
