SafeRide Health is a digital health platform that enables providers to facilitate medically qualified NEMT transportation on behalf of patients, reducing no-shows by up to 50 percent. This network is critical for the 20 percent of the population that drives 80 percent of healthcare costs.

SafeRide Health’s revenue is increasing at a rate of 100% year over year. Additionally, we have increased the number of rides we have fulfilled by 120% since last year. SafeRide Health fulfilled over a million rides in 2018. This is an incredible opportunity to join the company as we expand into new markets and new avenues of product. We recently closed our Series A round and is a graduate of the Amplify LA incubator. Our initial team of 20 includes alumni of top companies including BCG, Google, Facebook, JustVisual, Oracle, Tolemi (Graduate of Y Combinator), Dollar Shave Club, PwC and Disney.


Summary
SafeRide Health is seeking an ambitious and experienced product manager to spearhead the definition and creation of innovative software products for its users, both internal and external.

Reporting to our Director of Product, you will have wide latitude in defining the product strategy, features, and roadmap for his/her area of the business. You'll work side by side with our founders, executives, product, engineering, sales and operation teams to help grow the business to the next step function.

This role is a balanced mix of forward-thinking strategy and highly creative, technically-minded feature development. You must be strategic as well as eager to roll up your sleeves: as a PM, you'll drive both product and business strategy as well as dive into every detail of our product and your projects. Be ready to spend your time building relationships with our users, digging into our analytics, and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

It is expected that every member of the team work together to establish and define the tooling and process that best supports everyone. They should be passionate about solving difficult technical problems and building first class products.



Responsibilities
Handle the “day-to-day” of building a product (sprint planning, standups, etc.) along with planning and managing a long-term product roadmap
Document high level product specifications, workflows and groom the backlog with granular feature epics, user stories and release notes
Integrate and create qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and market insights into product requirements, roadmaps and strategies.
Translate company strategy into a high-impact product strategy. Be able to develop a well-defined roadmap while working through tradeoffs
Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management stakeholders to button up the technical handshake of our products
Define KPIs, and operational and marketing metrics for new features
Drive product development with a fantastic team of engineers, while also considering the input and opinions of stakeholders.
Communicate project status and timelines effectively to both internal and external stakeholders


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical field.
Demonstrated technical understanding of computer science fundamentals and technology
4+ years of technical product experience, ideally in a high-growth startup environment.
History of delivering innovative products to market with a customer value-driven approach.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to navigate the problem and solution space with minimum supervision.
Experience collaborating and influencing cross-functional Engineering teams in an Agile software development environment.
Experience overseeing a product from idea to launch, including discovery, business opportunity assessment, and driving Agile tasks from a Product Manager’s view.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets
Strong critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to analyze and break down problems into components.

Bonus:
Checked ego, humble, empathetic, collaborative, service-oriented attitude of “user first”.
Healthcare experience is a plus.
B2B experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge of InVision and Sketch
Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with limited resources.
