We are looking for a great consultative relationship manager who can manage the performance and experience of the top brands on SaddleShoppe.com and work to create relationships with select partners for retail activations.


You will be directly responsible for the happiness and performance of our top brands and play a critical role in building processes to better service them. 

Most of all, you will be critical during this foundational stage of the Company, and instrumental in making SaddleShoppe.com the de-facto retailer for brands to distribute their products in the Equestrian Market.


Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of strategic brand relationships
• Maintain relationships with executive leadership at managed brands
• Manage the end-to-end process of ongoing partnership contract renewals and negotiations
• Be expert on brand performance and opportunities for growth
• Maintain close awareness of partners strategy and plans to identify opportunities to better support our partners
• Create relationships with strategic activation partners for maximum ROI
• Shape customized approaches to brand-centric success, including driving revenue, brand expansion, referrals, content & inventory updates, and marketing materials
• Partner closely with other cross-functional teams to translate business needs and product requirements into new solutions for your brands
• Serve as the internal expert and advocate for your portfolio of brands in shaping company strategy and direction
• Leads the brand marketing plans for key activations, and the overall approach for retail and brand accounts.
• Understands audiences and works with internal and external partners to engage audiences through campaigns, content creation and coordination.
• Reports status and key metrics to management team.
• Project Management/ Partner Event Activation
• Manages special project requests related to marketing initiatives.
• Acts as point of contact for partners, external agencies, and internal divisions and staff members
• Dedicated to on-site project management in-the-field, especially for managing content collection initiatives
• Manages project budgets and staff resources.



Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business development, partner management, or buyer related role in retail industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer relationship management and empathy
• You have executive presence and are able to quickly earn trust and respect
• You are data savvy - you can measure the performance of your accounts and understand / move levers to improve it
• You are results-oriented and will ensure that your portfolio of brands is successful
• You love the space we are in
• You thrive in a fast-growth, high-potential environment
