The human resources industry is served by software that is old, manual and far from easy-to-use. Runa offers a much more modern, intuitive and efficient solution. With Runa, companies can pay their employees with 4 clicks in less than 15 minutes, and they do not need to have any previous experience. By automating payroll, we save users hundreds of hours a year at work. Less time in administrative processes means more time on team management, and ultimately happier employees.

We are building a team of engineering professionals more than capable of solving the challenges focused on: design, implementation and operation of a SaaS product of world size.

That is why, if you are good at coding and passionate about technology, but also want to work in a fast paced company where you are constantly trying new alternatives and continuous improving your skills we are very eager to meet you.



* Collaborate with the backend team for the development of endpoints in order to obtain important information about the application
* Development of features for areas such as onboarding and sales (internal) and the creation of reports for the frontend (external)
* Working under Scrum, having 2 weeks sprints
* Collaborate for the definition of user stories from the point of view of the backend development in order to identify the technical feasibility for the stories



* +2 years of experience in web development
* Proficient knowledge on Ruby on Rails (2.0 ahead)
* Knowledge on SQL databases (PostgreSQL) with a focus on high performance
* Experience creating automated test, good programming practices and the correct use of style guides
* Experience using Scrum
* Capability of understanding the requirements of the end user and creating the tech solutions
* Ability to work on a team, proactive attitude and adaptability
* PLUS: Experience working on open source projects and integrating SOAP and REST web services


* Hiring: All employees are hired directly by Runa and are paid 100% in normal wages and salaries according to Mexican law (that is, yes, we pay and inform the IMSS)
* Salary: The salary is very competitive and attractive, according to experience.
* Titles: We believe in a flat organization without hierarchy. The opinion of each person is as important as the next person. As such, we have decided not to use titles or classifications in our organization. If you work in sales, you are a member of the sales team. If you work in development, you are a member of the development team. It's that easy.
