As a Senior Front-End Web Engineer with the Developer Services Team, you’ll have the independence, opportunity, and the end-to-end responsibility for challenging, complex, mission critical services within the Roblox ecosystem. The Developer Services Team empowers Roblox to be the best development platform for creating 3D social experiences, enabling our creators to publish compelling content within the Roblox ecosystem. This includes services around core game play, an analytics platform for our creators and products enabling our creators to communicate with their audiences. You will create and own mission critical services in this cross-discipline team within the Roblox ecosystem.
- Experienced with visualization tools & libraries like D3 - a plus
- Familiar with compiled languages (eg. C++, Java, C# etc.) - a big plus
- Focused on writing clear, readable, testable, and monitored code
- A collaborative team member, self starter, and adaptable
- Passion for UI/UX; i.e. you have great sense of usability and design in consumer application
- Experience building APIs and Backend Services
- Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC-web to optimize network performance of web apps
- Working on unique projects that are seen - and enjoyed - by millions of active Roblox users every day
