We’re looking for an Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our growing team. The Analyst - FP&A will play a leading role in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to provide Ritual with key metrics and analysis to achieve growth targets. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this person will work closely with the entire Finance team, strategically navigating the complexities of Ritual’s rapid international growth. 


* Own the creation and compilation of the annual budget process, monthly rolling forecasts, and work cross-functionally to determine necessary forecast adjustments and budget needs as we continue to expand internationally
* Analyze, investigate and report on P&L performance and variances between plan/forecast and actual results
* Work side by side with operational and finance business leaders as a business partner focused on forward looking results
* Identify opportunities to drive revenue, optimize margins, and reduce costs
* Communicate results to business leads and operational teams
* Prepare monthly financial and operational reports
* Develop and report metrics and KPIs to benchmark against company targets
* Prepare various ad hoc analysis and projects to assist with the management of the business


* 2+ years financial modelling or FPA experience
* A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or other related field
* A professional (CPA, CMA, CFA) designation or MBA will be an asset
* Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
* Hands-on experience building complex models 
* Excellent knowledge of financial analysis theories and practices
* Ability to handle ambiguity and complex work processes and thrive in a dynamic and hyper-growth start-up organization with lean structure
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to properly organize and structure models that efficiently answer the relevant business question
* Experience working with/implementing budgeting systems is a huge plus
* Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to create and maintain productive work relationships with people who are not used to finance terms and concepts
* Self-driven with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-oriented environment.
