Revivn takes electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life, providing it to people who lack computer access. Working with companies like Airbnb, Twitter, Percolate and Buzzfeed we are changing the way companies view old technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing electronics. Our global solution has expanded to cities across the globe including San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Dublin, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Washington DC, Denver, Salt Lake, Phoenix and Nashville.

As a Director of Business Operations, you will be helping Revivn scale and drive operational excellence across the company. Your objective will be to steer the business into making analytically driven strategic decisions and lead critical projects and programs across the company. You will also partner closely with members of the leadership team to analyze, propose, and go-to-market with new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all operations including business operations, sales ops, legal operations, product operations and warehouse operations. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new business, products, and services.

Build frameworks to constantly evaluate the health of existing products and services. Create clear metrics for defining our relationship with customers and define targets for the organization. Measure performance against metrics that balance speed and efficiency against the client experience. Assist in planning and execution of our KPI Goal Setting process for different teams.

Develop a deep understanding of the business and be the person that can connect the dots across Growth, Product and Operations to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration.

Build and lead a team of high-performing, passionate, strategic business leaders that allow the company to scale.

Define our customer experience vision, ensuring alignment with our company’s strategic direction and ability to drive economies of scale in service delivery. Develop clear strategic roadmaps for scaled customer service delivery and experience.

Introduce new and innovative technologies that improve our customer experience and drive customer satisfaction to enhance Revivn’s brand. Monitor and drive execution of day-to-day customer success team activity, ensuring courteous, timely and effective response to customer incidents and issues. Handle resolution of critical client issues.

Develop, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of annual and daily talent performance management practices, including employee performance improvement plans and the review process. Lead programs for employee learning and development across the organization.

Work with each respective team lead to assist with the hiring process including recruiting, scheduling and managing on-site candidate visit. Work to set-up and maintain a process for on-boarding new employees (desk setup, payroll, benefits enrollment, swag, etc.)

Help develop internal communications. Take notes to circulate to the rest of the company on important matters.

Support bill payment, invoicing, approving expenses and travel. Coordinate internal events throughout the year including lunches, dinners and quarterly gatherings. Help day to day office management tasks including coordinating cleaning, maintenance, and snack fulfillment.


Have 8+ years experience in business operations at a growth company or management consulting or banking.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft, edit, and proofread presentation material.

Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices and experience in developing, executing and maintaining HR projects and programs.

Represent Revivn as a top notch brand ambassador.

Strong business acumen with experience leading strategy, operations and process improvement projects.

Top notch problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex business problems from strategy to execution.

Ability to develop or oversee advanced quantitative analysis to derive actionable insights and synthesized recommendations to leadership.

You’re an action-oriented leader with the ability to inspire confidence, influence others, set processes, and effectively facilitate change.

You’re an excellent people manager who is able to leverage the strengths of their team in a way that gets the necessary tasks done while also challenging and supporting them.
