Job Details

• Primary Location – Toronto, Canada
• Employee status – Permanent
• Schedule – Full time
• Reporting To – Chief Business Officer


Key Responsibilities:

• Converting leads coming from different channels to opportunities and closing sales
• Develop sales funnel management strategy in line with the customer profile
• Communications via email and phone across all stages of the lead funnel
• Develop lead generation opportunities by actively networking with various associations and trade bodies


Job Requirements:

• Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
• Generate outbound email and calls with current, former and prospective customers advertising the payments products offered by REMITR
• Provide customers with information on the features and benefits of our products and answer all questions customers may have
• Analyze client needs to provide relevant solutions. This may include negotiation of pricing and contracts, preparing and submitting RFPs, proposals and bids.
• Build a team of sales employees to achieve revenue goals through strategic business development and planning, monitoring and reporting on daily sales activity
• Recruit, train, supervise and sales staff as and when needed.
• Coordinate with customer success team for onboarding of new customers
• Transitioning of day-to-day management of new customers to operations teams
• Implement steps to monitor and increase revenue generation from existing customers
• Develop marketing materials in coordination with the Marketing team for effective sales pitch
• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings and networking events to promote the company


Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in any discipline. A Masters degree will be preferable.
• 3-5 years of B2B (business to business) sales experience with a proven track record in meeting revenue and retention goals.
• Desirable - Exposure to financial products, preferably related to remittances, cross border transactions, import oriented businesses, global ecommerce and global services businesses.
• Desirable - Experience in managing a team of 2-5 persons.

• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• Ability to build positive interpersonal relationships
• High level of self motivation with a drive to excel
• Possess strong work ethics and self-discipline
• Fluent with Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems
• May require to travel within the region and neighboring provinces
• Ability to take out-of-the-box approach when introducing a new product to initial set of customers
